Paul Byles is the Founder and Director of FTS, which provides regulatory, economic, and management consulting services. Paul is a strong professional, skilled in regulation, economics, and private banking, having worked in the financial services industry for 25 years. He also serves as an independent director on a number of financial services and local operating firms
Chris Wall is the Director of Walzzy Creative SEZC and Co-Founder of Grappzie, a digital first marketplace for personalized creativity. Chris has over 10 years of experience in the Law industry, and through persistence and creativity, has successfully transitioned into the world of technology and digital development with the creation of his media companies.
Charlie Kirkconnell is the Chief Executive Officer at Cayman Enterprise City (CEC), a special economic zone development project that helps international business establish a genuine physical presence of their own within Cayman’s dynamic digital community. A determined and skilled leader, Charlie is spearheading the development and execution of the long-term strategy and day-to-day operations of CEC’s multiple award winning special economic zones.
Ryan Watson is the Director of IT & Infrastructure at Brave Software Intl. SEZC, global software team who created a privacy-based, open-source web browser and a digital advertising platform that rewards users. A highly motivated self-taught IT professional, Ryan and his team at Brave ensure smooth operations and help to provide users with technical guidance and support.
Matt Vaughan is the Founder of Fetch Tech SEZC, which provides strategic and commercial support to venture-backed growth technology companies, focusing on Fintech/SaaS. Matt was previously the General Counsel of Xero and has worked in various private practice and in-house roles as a corporate attorney. He has been admitted to practice as an attorney in California, New Zealand, the Cayman Islands, and Australia (NSW).
Alee Fa’amoe is the former Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for ICT at OfReg, the Utility Regulation and Competition Office of the Cayman Islands and is now a consultant. Alee has a broad background in technology, operations, and management and has spent 20 years in the telecommunications industry, working as an industry expert on telephone numbering and network operations.
Brent Swanick is a Canadian tax lawyer and the Marketing Director of Tgoma Inc. SEZC, developers of world’s only active video game technology. Brent is also a committee member of the American Society of Testing and Materials and an avid cyclist
Justin Fisher is the Co-Founder & CEO of VeriBlock™, the developers of the Proof-of-Proof (“PoP”) blockchain consensus protocol and the VeriBlock™ Blockchain Technology Stack. During his more than 25 years in the internet bandwidth, web hosting, financial & information services and telecommunications industries, Justin has been an incubator of companies that include ISPs, VoIP telecom, internet financial services, and collaborative gaming.
Polly Pickering is Managing Director at eShore Ltd. SaaS & Cyber Security enthusiast supporting technology solutions for Financial Services, FinTech development, Blockchain, BCP /DR clients, working with requirements that focus on AML and offshore compliance and innovation. Enjoying last two decades of service and consulting. Based in the Cayman Islands & working with 300+ Caribbean offshore & LATAM businesses, (always keen to discuss business development for evolutionary technologies).
Petri Basson is an experienced professional with a background in finance and IT. After obtaining his Chartered accountant qualification he saw the destructive possibility of technology and obtained 6 certificates in IT as well as his Certified Information System Auditor qualification. He has a wide range of experience in financial as well as IT audit ranging from security to SOC type compliance audits. In the past 3 years, he has helped to develop the KPMG Cayman digital asset audit methodology as well as a number of tools to complete these audits. He is also the chairman of the Blockchain Association of the Cayman Islands.
William Carter is the Chief Operating Officer at WMB Corp. SEZC, a revolutionary tech company currently impacting the digital currency and privacy industry. Working on xx network: Bringing Elixxir and Praxxis together in a new type of blockchain and communications platform.
Sandra Castelo is the Financial Controller at TAAL Technologies SEZC, a global team of industry leading experts focused on creating the future of blockchain mining. Castelo and her team are on a mission to be the world’s largest, vertically integrated blockchain service provider. They take complex business operations and deliver turn-key solutions to enterprise clients, streamlining their entry into the industry.
John Edge is a serial entrepreneur, operating as an executive and board advisor to high growth technology companies. He is currently an Operating Partner at Broadhaven Capital focused on Data Rights and Data as a Capital Asset. John is the co-founder of ID2020, an alliance setting the course of digital ID and serves as a Connection Science Fellow atthe Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Through these roles, John actively connects Emerging Technology, Industry and Government to create fair person-centric technology-mediated human networks.
Jason Butcher has been in the digital space since 1992 when launching a platform in Canada called WSN the “World Shopping Network” and later developing one of the first multi-channel digital TV broadcast platforms. In 2002 Jason started the very first free print and online classified system in Cayman called the “Buy & Sell” which changed the local economy as it allowed people to easily buy, sell and trade on the island. Jason was also involved with operating “CPAY”; the first payment gateway in Cayman.
